Westerners are not only known as history ignoramuses, but double dumbass history ignoramuses when it comes to TV talk show history. Since I'm the one-and-only Historyscoper (tm), let me quickly bring you up to speed before you dive into my Master Historyscope.
Most TV talk shows are aired during daytime or late at night. Some, like "Larry King Live" have reached 6K+ episodes.
On Sept. 8, 1986 the Oprah Winfrey Show debuts on daytime TV (until ?) with an episode on marrying the right person, soon shooting to the top of the ratings, rocketing Oprah Gail Winfrey (1954-) to the top in wealth and power among world blacks.
